The group that was here last week were big on doing Kids Clubs. They had a whole song and dance routine planed and everything. They really did a great job with it. I traveled with them to Bentley Bay one day to help them and to snap some pictures. Enjoy.
(Note: Because of our limited Internet connection, I have to put up low quality pictures, so wait to download any you like. After I get home I will put up the high quality ones.)
A nice view approaching Bentley Bay.
Me with the Kids.
Simon and I. I met Simon last year on the North Side and helped him swim for the better part of an hour.
The kids dancing along.
Kids focusing.
Making a bracelet.
Calburt and I. We had lots of fun tossing that ball earlier.
Lots of kids having fun.
Everyone Smile.
I have been working in the school all week. I love it. Something inside of me is saying, maybe look into teaching. We’ll see. We have been learning our times tables this week. My group has been getting much better.
Now some of you probably wonder what the most beat up part of my body is. Am I sun-burnt, are my hands beat up? Well no and no. I have been putting sunscreen on as Camas said “religiously.” The most beat up part of my body are my feet. Between bug-bites and blisters, it hurts to put my feet into flip flops. And they look gross as well. So there ya go.
God Bless,
Paul

Great photos Paul! The kids seem to enjoy all the activities the group had planned for them! They are so cute! Glad to hear your class is getting better at times tables!!
Sorry about your feet - ouch!
Love,
Mom
Wow Paul, what an adventure. You look very happy in the photos and the kids look like they enjoy having you guys there. Can’t imagine the heat/sauna aspect of it all. I love storms too, I would love to hear that kind of thunder. As a nurse, I need to tell you, to take care of the blister, any open wound like that is an avenue for infection to get in the body. Can you soak them at night and then put some Neosporin on them!! In the photos of the huts up on stilts, do the people live in those, what happens if there are high waves or a tsunami. Why do they build over the water and not on the land?
God bless you for your work and faith.
Love and prayers,
Mary

God is very clever at molding our lives…perhaps He is trying to nudge in the direction of teaching…you’d be very good…
