I hope for the next week you can "stay in the moment" as you serve. There will be enough time on the flight back to reflect and think about returning to your normal activities. We Americans tend to dwell on the past or try to preplan our futures. One of the qualities I like about Helene is that it slows down your body, mind, and spirit. As one author has written, God is always in the moment if we slow down our spirits to see His handiwork. Enjoy these days. They are a gift. Your life will get crazy fast, soon enough. Please give my greetings to Bye-Bye, Teddie, Willis, Dean and Bobby. Tell Ewings that his walk with God touches more lives off island than on island. Give a big hello to Marvelous for me.
